Course Descriptions:The Fraud Reduction and Data Analytics Act of 2015 requires OMB to establish guidelines that incorporate the leading practices of GAO’s Fraud Risk Framework. The act also requires federal agencies—including HHS—to submit to Congress a progress report each year, for 3 consecutive years, on implementation of the risk management and internal controls established under the OMB guidelines. OMB published guidance under OMB Circular A-123 in 2016 affirming that federal managers should adhere to the leading practices identified in the Fraud Risk Framework.
