The College of Family Development gives you strategies for strengthening the capacity of HS/EHS and other early childhood programs to implement and use strengths-based and culturally-informed practices. Participants learn to develop family engagement methodologies that are systemically integrated across Head Start and communities which can be sustained over time. 

 

Head Start family workers who want Head Start recognition for their professional achievement and who want to unlock new Head Start career paths come to HS University.  HS University's credentialing program focus only on serving Head Start, Early Head Start, Migrant Head Start and Tribal Head Start families.  Our program is designed to ensure family workers are meeting Head Start standards by empowering parents through partnership agreements and goal setting process.  The requirements ofCourses approved for NASW CEU's! the Head Start Act and Office of Head Start.  HS University is an approved National Association of Social Workers Continuing Education provider.
