Course Description: Successful parent involvement encompass both meeting planning and running effective meetings.  This course includes both the basics of meeting management, such as site selection, agenda planning, materials and development and peripheral considerations such as day care arrangements and refreshments.  The course will acquaint you with meeting planning and effective meeting strategies that can be utilized in a variety of meeting environments, from staff, policy council or parent meetings, to planning an event or conference.

Learning Objectives: Upon completion, you will be able to:

Target Audience: This course is designed for center management, teaching staff and staff responsible for maintaining health services. All Head Start staff working with children will benefit from this course.
