Defining
and Identifying Challenging Behaviors

This conference will help participants
identify ways in which their own
perceptions and experiences influence
how they interact with children with
challenging behaviors. It will help
participants develop a system for
collecting data, and then use it to
develop strategies that capitalize on
children’s strengths and needs. It also
helps participants identify when and how
to seek appropriate supports within the
program and within the community in an
effort to fully integrate children with
challenging behaviors into their
programs.
